GET STARTED

Everything you need to start playing through StompFlow.

Connecting Hardware

  1. 1Open the Forge tab and select your audio input device (e.g., guitar interface or built-in mic).
  2. 2Choose your output device — headphones are recommended for low-latency monitoring.
  3. 3Pick a DSP engine: 'Low Latency 44.1k' offers the best balance for live playing.
  4. 4Tap Connect and play your guitar — the visualizer should react to your signal.

Loading Presets

  1. 1Go to the Presets tab to browse factory and custom presets.
  2. 2Tap the arrow icon next to a preset to load it into your signal chain instantly.
  3. 3Save your current chain by entering a name and category, then tapping Save.
  4. 4Use Export to download presets as files and share them with friends.
  5. 5Factory presets are locked — your custom presets can be edited or deleted anytime.

Using the Drum Machine

  1. 1Open the Drums tab to access the 16-step, 4-track sequencer.
  2. 2Tap grid cells to toggle kick, snare, hihat, and clap hits on each 16th note.
  3. 3Switch drum kits (Acoustic, Electronic, Hip-Hop) to match your genre.
  4. 4Use the Library to load factory patterns or save your own beats.
  5. 5Adjust tempo (60–200 BPM) and volume to match your playing style.
  6. 6Drums mix through the same audio engine as your guitar — jam along!

Building Your Signal Chain

  1. 1In Forge, tap 'Add Effects' to browse distortion, delay, reverb, and more.
  2. 2Drag pedals to reorder your signal chain.
  3. 3Tap a pedal's footswitch to bypass it, and adjust knobs to shape your tone.
  4. 4Use the Signal Path page to visualize gain staging and troubleshoot levels.
